Fender Mustang I Amplifier (Guitar Lesson Review GG-602)

Justin’s completely Free Guitar Lessons. Guitar Gear Review GG-602. This Fender Mustang I amplifier review vid will show you each of the preset sounds, I just jam around a bit on each one. Of all the beginners amps I’ve tried so far this one is by far the most fun and inspiring to play about with… what you are seeing here is just a slice of the 3 hours I was jamming around with it!! It’s not going to compete tonally with my main amps but at less than 100 bucks I think it’s fantastic. Big THANK YOU to Musicroom.com for loaning me the amp for the review. Find the related course notes on the following link: justinguitar.com www.musicroom.com Shiteburgers… I just noticed the audio is out of phase. What a joke, a review about the sound and the audio is out, and it seems I can’t replace it so going to have to re-upload this as soon as I can figure out how to re-edit the audio. FekFull support at the justinguitar web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem. And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships, no free ebook. Just tons of great lessons :) To get help with this lesson (and for further info and tabs), find the Lesson ID in the video title (like ST-667 or whatever) and then look it up on the Lesson Index page of justinguitar.com www.justinguitar.com Have fun .

Theoretically, you can get 24 metal channels, but for one bank (the 8 orange ones I think) you cant save over it without the Fuse software. And you can’t for instance, have 24 Mesa type presets. There are 3 Mesas, 3 Twin, 3 Vox, 3 Marshall, etc… I would like to have a few more channels for the Twin and a few less for some of the other amp clones I don’t use. Still a great buy, I just wanted to clear that up

I have the Cube too and it doesn’t suck- simple to use, and sound wise it’s great, but reliability on mine is questionable. For the money, though, I don’t see how anything can possibly beat the Mustang 1. Like Justin said, I would have killed to have an amp that sounded this good as a kid for $99

I own this amp and I love this style of review, but I disagree ALOT about the factory presets being the best possible. The presets here are all shit, although Justin could play out of a soup can and make it sound good. Interestingly, the 2 models I like the most when I play, the Super Sonic and the 65 Twin Reverb aren’t nearly my fav that Justin plays on this review. Plugged into the FUSE software a ton of effects are available that can be saved, but the 65 Twin with no effects is fantastic

Green F – ’65 Twin Reverb is my favorite with this amp.

I own this amp and use it with a Squier Hot Rails Deluxe. One of the best purchases I have made in my entire life, USB modification is a definite bonus but I don’t use it as really, all the presets are quite enough for me, considering you can edit them on the fly. It comes with some nice professional-grade software you can use for recording etc. and the audio in and out are great, can be used as a very nice little party audio system using the AUX input. For the money, can’t beat it.

Is there any way someone could help me get the best Jimmy Page sound? I have no idea how to download Presets.

Does it really matter what guitar do you play if you use a modelling amp?
I want to buy a gibson les paul studio and practice it at home. Is this amp really OK for it? Or shoud I rather buy a tube amp? Thanks a lot for any advice
