@coolyboy1234 No but do yourself a favor. Listen to Tom Morello, a lot. Be creative like him. People today get cought up in blazing solos and don’t realize the creative geniusness of Morello. Do something that no one else has ever done. Guitar playing doesn’t have to be a math equation, think outside the box.
totally agree. his sound was so different especially when they released their first album. give me a break. steve vai is phenomenal – no doubt…but he can’t write a decent song to save his life (other than off his 93 album). morello is so damn creative!

maybe you could teach me a trick or two about tom, i’m planning on playing a lot of rage as soon as i get an electric guitar. But it’s hard to decode a lot of his sounds and i think there’s not enough info out there
